Who we are

starlis.live is operated by Edis Medya on behalf of Starlis, for the purpose of booking, press and brand enquiries. Edis Medya is the data controller for the personal data described below. You can reach us through the booking form on this site.

What we collect

  • Information you submit through our forms: name, company or venue, email, WhatsApp number, city, event date and any message you write.
  • Newsletter subscription: your email address, preferred language, country and the time you gave consent.
  • Basic technical data needed to operate the site securely: an anonymised, hashed version of your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit. We do not use advertising cookies or trackers, and we do not sell personal data to anyone.

Why we process it

  • To reply to booking, press and brand enquiries and to prepare a contract if a booking goes ahead.
  • To send the newsletter you explicitly opted into, and to let you unsubscribe at any time with one click.
  • To keep the site secure, prevent automated abuse of our forms, and fix bugs when something breaks.

Who sees it

Only Edis Medya and Starlis, and the technical providers that keep the site and mailboxes running (hosting and email delivery). We do not share your data with advertisers. If a booking becomes a contract, the minimum information needed (name, contact details) may be shared with venues, promoters or partners directly involved in that event.

How long we keep it

Booking and press enquiries are kept for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards for accounting and legal purposes. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. You can ask us to delete your data earlier at any time, subject to any legal obligation to keep records of a completed contract.

Your rights

Wherever you are, you can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to stop processing it. To exercise any of these rights, use the booking form and mention "privacy request". We reply to every request personally.

International visitors

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK GDPR, or Turkey's Law on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK, Law No. 6698). See the KVKK Disclosure page for details specific to Turkey.

VIP list and newsletter

When you join the VIP list or subscribe to the newsletter, we record: your email address, your preferred language, your country, which form you joined from, the consent text you approved and the time of approval, and the moment you confirmed your address. The purpose is to announce new dates and news to you and to let you listen to the tracks in the VIP room. The legal basis is your explicit consent.

There is a one-click unsubscribe link at the bottom of every email. The moment you unsubscribe, email sending stops and your access to the VIP room closes. If you want your record to be deleted completely, simply write "privacy request" through the booking form.

To keep the VIP room open on this device, a cookie is placed in your browser only for this purpose (valid for 365 days); this cookie is not used for tracking or advertising. A login link you request for another device is single-use and expires after 7 days.

City vote

In the "Bring Starlis to your city" vote, we do not ask for your name or email. We record: the city you selected or wrote, the language of the page, a random key generated in your browser to prevent a second vote from the same device, and a hash of your IP address (the raw IP address is not stored). The purpose is to see which cities have interest and to show this to venues and promoters only as a total count. The legal basis is legitimate interest.

The hash of your IP address is deleted after 13 months. Your vote stays, without being linked to your identity. If you wrote a city that is not on the list, only the team sees that text; it is not published on the site.

Bio links

In the short links in social media profiles (starlis.live/l/…) we only keep the daily total number of clicks per link; we do not record who clicked. To avoid counting the same click twice, the hash of your IP address is kept for at most 2 days, then deleted.

Personalised offer pages

On personalised pages we send to a venue, promoter or brand (offer, agreement and event pages), the following are recorded in association with that venue and person: the time the page was opened, the sections viewed, the time spent on the page, the buttons clicked and the files downloaded; also the approximate location derived from the IP address (country, city), internet service provider, browser information and a hash of the IP address. The raw IP address is not stored. The purpose is to track the offer we sent and to follow up at the right time. The legal basis is legitimate interest.

Raw visit logs are deleted after 90 days; the hash of the IP address and browser information are removed after 12 months. To object to this tracking, you can write "privacy request" through the booking form.
