KVKK Disclosure

Under Turkey's Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("KVKK"), Edis Medya acts as the data controller (veri sorumlusu) for personal data collected through starlis.live.

• Handling booking, press and brand enquiries submitted through our forms.
• Sending the newsletter to visitors who explicitly subscribed, and honouring unsubscribe requests.
• Preventing automated abuse of our forms and keeping the site secure.

Personal data is processed on the basis of your explicit consent (KVKK Art. 5/1, for the newsletter) and, for booking and press enquiries you initiate, on the basis that processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract (KVKK Art. 5/2).

Personal data may be transferred to the technical providers that host this site and deliver its email (located in the European Economic Area), solely to operate the service described above, and never sold or shared for advertising purposes.

You have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed, request information about it, learn its purpose and whether it is used accordingly, know the third parties to whom it is transferred, request correction or deletion, and object to a result that arises solely from automated analysis. To exercise these rights, contact us through the booking form and mention "KVKK request".

Data processed for the VIP list and newsletter: your email address, language, country, the form you joined, your consent text and its time, and the moment you confirmed your address. This data is processed based on your explicit consent under KVKK Art. 5/1. Every email includes an unsubscribe link; the moment you unsubscribe, sending stops and your access to the VIP room closes. You can exercise your right to have your record deleted and your other rights under KVKK Art. 11 at any time by writing "KVKK request" through the booking form.

In the city vote, the city, language, random device key generated in your browser and hash of your IP address are processed based on the legitimate interest legal basis under KVKK Art. 5/2(f). Name or email is not collected. The hash of your IP address is deleted after 13 months.

In short links, only the daily total click count is kept. To avoid counting the same click twice, the hash of the IP address is stored for at most 2 days.

On personalised pages sent to venues, promoters and brands, the opening of the page, sections viewed, duration, clicks, downloads, approximate location and browser information are processed in association with the relevant venue and person, based on the legitimate interest legal basis under KVKK Art. 5/2(f). Raw logs are stored for 90 days; technical traces (hash of the IP address, browser information) are stored for 12 months.
